Road resurfacing benefiting PG and Vanderhoof

Road resurfacing is taking place in the North Central region, including areas in PG and Vanderhoof.

MLA Shirley Bond says a significant sum has been invested by the BC government:

“So we are very pleased that there is a significant number of projects underway, a $3.1 million dollar investment.”

Amongst others, this includes portions of highway 97 and 16, including several intersections at Austin road, First Ave and Victoria, and an acceleration lane extension at the intersection of highway 16 and 97; and in Vanderhoof, This includes a section of Highway 16 between Burrard Avenue and Speedway Road.

Work is expected for completion in late September.
