Wet and cool weekend expected in PG area

You can start pulling out those raincoats this weekend, as wet weather is in store.

Environment Canada’s Lisa Coldwells says a large upper trough is making its way into the region Saturday, and will see this upcoming month start off a little soggy:

“This large trough isn’t going anywhere, so really the entire forecast for the first weekend of September is going to be cool and showery.”

She says Saturday and Sunday will be the hardest hit, with 5-10 mm of rain expected, with temperatures hovering around the 14 degree mark.
