Some remote residences went on evacuation alert at 10:00 last night around Crescent Spur, 50 kilometers east of the Ancient Forest near Highway 16.
Everyone in the area is being asked to have an emergency kit ready and to be prepared to evacuate their homes at a moment’s notice.
The fire is currently 150 kilometers large and is considered out of control.
