Police discover human remains along Kiskatinaw River near Dawson Creek

The North District Major Crimes Unit is investigating the discovery of human remains over the May long weekend in the Dawson Creek area.

On Saturday, the RCMP were notified of the suspected remains along the Kiskatinaw River, west of Highway 97.

Major Crimes has assumed conduct of the file and efforts are underway to identify the remains.

There are no further updates at this time and more information will be released when available.
