Northern BC Toy Expo well attended in second year

Year-over-year, the event has nearly doubled in size.

The Northern BC Toy Expo is back in Prince George this weekend for the second straight year.

“[Last year] was a big success, we had 1,500 people throughout the weekend,” Mat Walker, an event organizer, told My PG Now. “It was wall to wall, back to back full.”

The event was held in the Kinsmen Community Complex in 2023. This year it has moved to the Roll-A-Dome, a considerably larger space.

With that larger space came more vendors, Walker said close to 80 vendors are set up for the weekend compared to 40 last year.

“It has been nonstop [today],” he said. “I don’t know exactly how many have come through but it has been steady. There is lots of great stuff, I think everybody is doing ok.”

The expo opened at 11:00 this morning (Saturday) and will be open again tomorrow from 11:00 – 5:00.
