PHOTOS: Prince George puts shoes to the pavement for good causes

Prince George was the place to walk today (Sunday) as three walks were held for different causes in Prince George.

The day started with the Colour Walk for the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society at the CN Centre.

Today’s event was the culmination of the month-long fundraiser, which challenges PG residents to support Hospice by walking 100k in the Month of May.

Proceeds from the fundraiser support Hospice’s Home Hospice program.

Over in Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park, MS Canada held the MS Walk.

This year, the goal was to raise $33,000 for research and treatment.

The last walk of the day was the IG Wealth Management Alzheimer’s Walk, which took place at the YMCA.
