800 graduates will walk the stage during UNBC’s 31st Convocation ceremonies this spring.
Special honorees will be given distinct honours and awards during the two ceremonies in Prince George on Friday.
Carey Price, Alex Cuba, and Jim Good will be receiving Honorary Doctor of Laws degrees during the ceremonies in Prince George on Friday.
Behrouz (Bruce) Danesh and Will Hanlon were named Valedictorians earlier this month.
In addition, Kristen Kieta will receive the Governor General’s Gold Medal, Melody Mah will receive the Governor General’s Silver Medal, and Mikhaila Carr will receive the Lieutenant Governor’s Medal for Inclusion, Democracy, and Reconciliation.
Ceremonies will also be held in Terrace (June 3rd), Quesnel (June 6th) and Fort St. John. (June 7th)
UNBC’s convocations are ticketed events, and are also livestreamed on UNBC’s Youtube Channel.
