PGARA gearing up for Labour Day Long Weekend

PGARA Speedway is holding a special two day event for car enthusiasts this Labour Day Long Weekend.

President, Chris Arronge says it will feature Hit to Pass racing.

“Hit to pass racing on Saturday night at 6pm and on Sunday at 1pm, we have a couple travel trailers the drivers are going to destroy and we are looking at 15 to 20 cars.”

Arronge adds the Labour Day weekend has always been a big draw.

“September long-weekend is always the biggest one we have been doing it on this weekend for the past 35 years, we get huge crowds out there and it’s one of the most popular things to do in the summer in Prince George.”

Arronge says 2015 has been a great year for the track.

“We have had really good racing in the street stock division as well as mini stocks and the hornets we are coming up to the championship weekend next weekend and still have battles for points.”

Admission rates can be found at www.pgara.ca.
