The Vanderhoof RCMP is looking to speak to a person captured on camera vandalizing a pride-themed “Share the Love” banner.
The video was taken on June 2 and shows a person grabbing a ladder to climb a light pole where one of the banners was displayed, though it does not show the damage done.
Police note the parked car seen is not related to the investigation.
This is one of several cases of vandalism targeted at the pride movement in Vanderhoof, police say the damage to this and other banners have cost “several thousand dollars.”
Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Vanderhoof RCMP.
