PG man killed in morning rollover

A 33-year-old Prince George man has died after a single-vehicle accident this morning.

At 8:15 this morning, RCMP responded to the rollover on Highway 97 south of the city, near Sintich road.

When emergency crews got the the scene, they found a pick-up truck in the bank.

The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was dead when officials arrived.

Prince George RCMP and the North District RCMP’s Traffic Services Section are still investigating what caused the rollover.

After searching the area, they have concluded there were no passengers in the vehicle.

Highway 97 remained open all day, with slight delays.

The victim’s name has not been released.
