Pacific Coastal adding PG to Kelowna flight in October

Frequent visitors to the Okanagan won’t have to brave the Highway 97 traffic as much thanks to a new direct flight.

Today (Monday), Pacific Coastal Airlines announced a new service supporting travel between Kelowna and Prince George starting October 28th.

The new service will operate six times a week, on a Sunday to Friday schedule.

Direct flights to Kelowna will leave YXS at 7:45 AM, arriving at 9:10. For those needing a return flight to the northern capital, it departs at 6:20pm, landing at 7:40.

“We are thrilled to welcome Pacific Coastal Airlines’ new route from YXS to YLW, enhancing travel options for our community. This service complements existing routes and reflects our commitment to providing diverse and convenient travel opportunities,” said Gordon Duke, President and CEO of the Prince George Airport Authority.
