Growth Hospitality Group, PG Airport Authority bringing new hotel to YXS

Construction is set to start in April 2025 on a new hotel at the Prince George Airport.

According to the Prince George Airport Authority, the Prestige YXS hotel will feature 120 guest rooms and a range of amenities, including a spa, gym, meeting spaces, and a guest lounge.

“The addition of Prestige YXS to Prince George Airport will significantly enhance the travel experience for our passengers,” said Prince George Airport Authority President and CEO Gord Duke.

“This hotel development aligns with our vision of providing exceptional services and amenities, making our airport a key hub for travelers.”

The project is being spearheaded by Growth Hospitality, who has developed and operated several notable properties, including the Prestige Treasure Cove Resort, Prestige Prince George Lodge, and Prestige Riverside Lodge in Quesnel.

“We are excited to bring another high-quality hotel to Prince George,” said Growth Hospitality Group CEO Craig Briere.

“We believe the Prestige YXS will offer unparalleled convenience and comfort for travelers.”

The grand opening is anticipated for winter 2027.
