Prince George RCMP seeking witnesses to July 15th shooting

The Prince George RCMP are turning to the public for information on a late-night shooting.

According to police, the shooting occurred on the 1000-block of Liard Drive on July 15th.

Mounties were advised by an employee at the location that sometime during the night of July 15th into 16th, a bullet had struck one of their windows, though it didn’t penetrate fully into the residence.

“Thankfully there were no injuries in this incident and police are currently looking to find who may have shot at the home,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.

“If anyone has any information about this event, or has dash camera or video surveillance with information that relates to this investigation, they are encouraged to call the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line to speak to a police officer.”

The file remains under investigation.
