115 CNC students utilized provincial future skills grant in 2023

Applications for the StrongerBC Future Skills grant for people interested in taking short-term skills training courses opened earlier this week.

Students 19 or older enrolled in eligible programs at public post-secondary schools can be awarded up to $3,500 through the grant.

According to CNC, 115 students were awarded grants through the program last year.

The 2024-25 school year will be the second year CNC accepts students with this provincial funding.

Single Rollover in Quesnel Claims Life of One Man

RCMP found a 61-year-old man unconscious in the driver’s seat of the SUV. Police and paramedics on the scene attempted life-saving measures, but the man tragically succumbed to his injuries, and police were unable to resuscitate him.
