Santa Claus Parade to be Prince George’s newest holiday event

Santa Claus is coming to town – 24 days early.

As a part of the annual Festival of Trees, the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation will be holding a December 1st Santa Claus Parade this year.

According to Spirit of the North, the parade “will feature festive floats, walking groups, music, and of course, Santa Claus
himself, spreading holiday cheer to all attendees.”

While this is the first time a Santa Claus parade has been held in Prince George, the organization said they hope it becomes “a cherished tradition” in the community.
