Traffic will finally be flowing again along Highway 16 east according to Drive BC.
In a social media post, the road will be open from 7am to 9pm daily starting tomorrow (Friday).
Some of the conditions include stopping is not permitted, no fuel or washrooms after Mt. Robson and to obey all posted speed signs.
Traffic has been closed for the area following the major wildfire that ravaged through Jasper, Alberta.
Times and access are subject to change based on operational needs.
⚠️ UPDATE – #BCHwy16 will be open to ALL traffic starting on Friday, August 9th, from 7 AM to 9 PM (MT) daily.
