July was another strong month for building permit values in Prince George.
According to a report going before Prince George City Council at tomorrow’s (Monday) meeting, the City issued a total of 46 building permits worth a combined $37.4 million in July.
Last month’s totals were boosted by a variety of different permit tupes.
Five permits for new industrial buildings were issued worth a combined $2 million.
On the housing side, four permits worth a combined $28 million were issued for multi-family dwellings, while six permits were issued for new single family dwellings worth a combined $2.8 million.
2024 has been a strong year for Prince George when it comes to building permits.
A mix of building permit types have pushed the City to 253 permits issued worth a combined $198.3 million as of the end of July.
Other items on tomorrow’s agenda includes the AAP results for the Aquatic Centre upgrade’s funding, plus some upgrades for the CN Centre and the Elksentre arenas.
