It’s good news for motorists heading to and from the Robson Valley.
According to Alberta 511, Highway 16 is fully re-opening to traffic 24-hours a day.
However, drivers must proceed through Jasper as stopping will not be allowed.
The agency says services such as fuel, food and restrooms are only for residents and first reponders.
Drivers are asked to obey all signage and speed limits due to ongoing fire suppression work in the area.
