PG Chamber of Commerce holds Nominees Luncheon

The Prince George Chamber of Commerce held it’s annual nominees luncheon on Thursday.

The event serves as a precursor to the Business Excellence Awards Gala held each year in October.

“It’s an excellent opportunity to recognize some amazing businesses and some of the people in our community who are doing really great things.” said Chamber CEO Christie Ray.

Returning for a second year is the Hell Yeah Prince George award which recognizes people and businesses that are good ambassadors for the city.

“Bringing recognition into some of this behavior and things people are doing that are so essential to promoting Prince George as a wonderful place to be, to live, to work” said Ray.

The theme for this year’s Business Excellence Awards is “1920 Mobsters”.

The Gala will be held on October 24th at the Civic Centre.
