One-day blitz nets big ticket sales for Hospice Dream Home Lottery

Notable members of the Prince George Community were on hand at the Hospice Dream Home yesterday (Wednesday) selling tickets for the Dream Home Lottery and their 50/50.

According to Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society Executive Director Donna Flood, 668 Dream Home tickets and 763 50/50 tickets were sold during the one-day blitz.

“This is the most amount of tickets we’ve sold on this celebrity ticket-selling day than we’ve ever done,” Flood said.

Flood added Jason Keller was the top “Celebrity Seller” yesterday, selling 92 tickets.

“We also made it a community day as well, Save-On Foods came out and did a barbeque, we had a petting zoo, we had a bouncy castle, we had Bell E. Buttons the Clown,” she said.

“It wasn’t just for these influencers to come out and support hospice, but for Hospice to give back to the community a bit as well.”

Flood added the jackpot for the 50/50 has climbed over $202,000 meaning the winner will take home more than $100,000.

The Dream Home Prize Draw will take place on December 3rd.

50/50 draws will take place October 2nd and January 31st.
