Community organizations being celebrated at Park Drive-In party this weekend

Prince George’s Drive-In Theatre is hosting a two-day weekend party raising money for three community halls.

From 10:00 to 4:00 today (Saturday) and tomorrow, the Park Drive-In will have a Junk in the Trunk sale, the Cruisin’ Classics Car Club, food trucks, vendors, and more on site for the community to enjoy.

This is in addition to the mini-golf, go-karts, and axe throwing that are normally offered at the Drive-In during the day.

The Pilot Mountain Recreation Commission, Ness Lake Recreation Commission, and Nukko Lake Recreation Commission will benefit from the funds raised.

According to event organizers, the event is “about people getting together with a focus on giving to those halls and saying ‘thank you’ to the people and all the hours donated in service to our local agencies.”

The Drive-In is also playing ‘Twisters’ tonight and tomorrow, gates open at 8:00 and the show starts at 9:30.
