Former Northern Health CEO to be appointed to Order of BC

Prince George’s Catherine Ulrich will receive BC’s highest honour today.

The former president and CEO of Northern Health is one of 12 people appointed to the Order of British Columbia during a ceremony in Victoria.

“This year’s recipients are impressive, not simply because of their outstanding contributions to their communities but also because of the diversity of their achievements,” said BC Lieutenant Governer and Chancellor of the Order of British Columbia Janet Austin.

“The recipients have made advances in sustainability, reconciliation, health care, technology, arts and business. I am amazed by their dedication and innovation, and I look forward to celebrating their installation into the Order at Government House.”

Ulrich retired last year after a 41-year career in health care, including 16 years leading our health authority.
