Recycled vinyl exhibit coming to Studio 2880

Studio 2880’s newest exhibit repurposes vinyl records into a whole new kind of art.

Local artist Pat Klassen’s exhibit, called “Around the World,” cuts recycled vinyl records into maps, landmarks, portraits, and more.

According to Studio 2880, Klassen “uses a CNC router for cutting, followed by hand filing and assembly.”

The exhibit opens on Thursday (September 12) with a grand opening and artist presentation at 5:00.
