BC Greens go with Gook to run in Nechako Lakes riding

The northern slate of candidates for the BC Greens is slowly taking shape.

Douglas Gook will be running for the party in the Nechako Lakes riding during next month’s provincial election.

Gook is a third-generation settler with a lifelong passion for environmental justice and sustainable forestry.

He is an advocate for ecological commerce and biodynamic farming, Douglas has worked for decades to advance sustainable practices in the Cariboo region.

Last week, the BC Greens selected City of Quesnel employee Randy Thompson to run in Prince George-North Cariboo.

The election is set for October 19th.
