A high streamflow advisory has been issued for much of the Interior, including the Upper Fraser River.
According to the BC River Forecast Centre, as series of atmospheric rivers has arrived on the coast.
Based on the direction of flow, they say there is risk of moderate to heavy rain spilling over into the Interior.
While no major flooding is expected at this time, rivers may experience a rapid increase in flows.
Additionally, some flows have already increased due to recent rain, which may amplify effects of the upcoming storm.
