Category 2 and 3 fire bans to be rescinded in parts of PG Fire Centre

Category two and three fires will be allowed again in parts of the Prince George Fire Centre, effective Friday at noon.

The Prince George Fire Centre is rescinding the bans on these fires in the Mackenzie, Prince George, and Stuart Nechako Forest Districts.

However, the ban will stay in lace for the Fort Nelson and Peace Forest Districts until October 15th or until otherwise rescinded.

Fireworks, Sky lanterns, burn barrels or burn cages and binary exploding targets will still be prohibited in the Fort Nelson and Peace Forest Districts as well.
