Riley Heidt is coming back to the Cougars

The Prince George Cougars are getting their all-time points leader back.

Forward Riley Heidt was reassigned to the Cats by the Minnesota Wild after attending the NHL club’s training camp and suiting up in three pre-season games.

Heidt was picked by Minnesota in the second round, 64th overall in the 2023 NHL draft.

The 19-year-old forward put up 37 goals and 117 points in 66 games with the Cougars last season.
