One lucky Prince George resident will get to live free for a year.
The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Prince George are holding a raffle with a grand prize that contains groceries and gas for a year, as well as $12,000 cash.
Tickets are $20 each, with all proceeds going towards Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mentorship programs.
“We’re currently serving more kids than we ever have before, through a wide range of programs” said Executive Director Tim Bennet. “We want to be able to continue to grow, and to ensure that children who need a mentor get a mentor.”
With only six days remaining in the raffle there are still a lot of tickets that haven’t been sold.
“We’re sitting at about the fifty percent sold point right now, so some pretty good odds” said Bennet. “We’re really hoping for a few really good sales days just to make sure that we are raising as much as we can to support our local mentoring programs.”
