Downtown Prince George Fallfest sees residents take part in the season celebration

Plenty of Residents took part in this year’s Downtown Prince George Fallfest.

The changing season celebration started with a pancake breakfast at the PG Legion, with the downtown markets on 3rd Avenue and Quebec Street.

Martin Krell is the Market President.

“Events like Fallfest bring a farmer’s day from a good day to a great day, and it brings new people downtown and new people within the building.”

“We find that a lot of people don’t know we’re a year-round farmers market so, events like this get them into the building and realize we are open year-round.”

Krell says this year, they’re seeing a lot more foot traffic with both the indoor and outdoor markets.

Downtown Markets will continue until 2:00 pm, with Shop the Block ending at 3:00 pm.
