Hundreds gather for Prince George Studio Fair

The 49th Annual Studio Fair kicked off at the Prince George CN Centre.

Hundreds attended the event checking out a record number of vendors totaling over 300 that were either local or out of province.

Prince George Potter, Joanne Mikkelsen, who’s been a vendor at the fair since 1997, says the event always has everyone in high spirits.

“Obviously we like to have venues where we can display and sell our artwork, because that gives us motivation to make more. It’s just a really wonderful event.”

Mikkelsen says hearing from customers, they love the fair being at the CN Centre as the event evolves and gets better every year.

As for attendance, she said Friday was comparable to last year, with Saturday morning having a packed showing.

Studio Fair will go until 6pm tonight (November 2nd), and return tomorrow from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

More information can be found on the Studio Fair’s website here.
