Nearly $3,000 raised for youth groups through Prince George Haunted House

Halloween has come and gone, and The Terror on Tofield has wrapped up another successful event.

An estimated total of 700 people experienced the Prince George haunted House, which sold out three out of the four ticketed nights, with a steady amount of people on Halloween.

Main Organizer, Kathleen Angelski says the record attendance helped raise money for four youth groups.

“It was so close so we rounded it up to $2,800 even, and that will get split between the four youth groups. Each group gets $700, which is great.”

The groups include Prince George Alpine Ski Club, Royal Canadian Air Cadets, the Caledonia Nordic Cross Country Ski Team, and the Ecole Franco Nord Grades 7 and 8 Class Trip Fundraisers.

Angelski says there’s some ideas in mind for next year, though she isn’t sure if they will return, as it’s been a big commitment and a lot of work.
