Ziemmer’s seven goals in three games earns WHL Player of the Week

When you score goals, you get noticed. Koehn Ziemmer is the WHL’s Player of the Week.

Ziemmer tallied seven goals and an assist in three games last week, including a natural hat-trick in the Cougars’ 7-1 thrashing of the Vancouver Giants on Saturday.

Ziemmer also scored twice, including the overtime winner in yesterday’s 5-4 win over the Giants.

The Los Angeles Kings prospect has notched 17 goals and seven assists in just 13 games with the Cats so far this season.

The Cougars are back in action Friday when they host the Kelowna Rockets at the CN Centre.
