BC gamblers looking to cash in on $80 million dollar Lotto Max jackpot

The largest jackpot in Canadian history is up for grabs for BC gamblers tonight (Tuesday).

According to the province’s lottery corporation, a combined 94 million dollars is on the line when it comes to the Lotto Max draw, which includes 14 max million prizes.

Spokesperson, Shelley Wong expects no shortage of activity leading up to the draw.

“Anytime we see the chances of winning such a large jackpot – of course we will see a spike in sales right up until the draw time so we are really excited that our players here in BC have the chance to win that life changing amount of money.”

Wong added some recent changes allowed the big prize to reach new heights.

“Across the country, the Lotto Max has increased the max jackpot to 80 million. Previously, it was at 70 and we enabled the jackpot to reach as high as 80 million so this is the largest lottery jackpot available to win in Canada.”

“Whoever ends up winning that jackpot I think will have a fantastic holiday season and hopefully it will be a player right here in BC.”

Residents have until 7:30 pm this evening to buy their ticket.
