Timberwolves fall short against UBC

UNBC Timberwolves men’s soccer team fell 2-0 to the UBC Thunderbirds today (Sat).

The T-birds would get on the board 17 minutes into the first half when Kerman Pannau would put UBC up by one after the first half.

UBC would pad it’s lead in the second when Sean Einarsson scored in the 52nd minute to ice the game.

Timberwolves fall to 1-6 and will play the Thunderbirds again tomorrow (Sun) at 2:15.

The Lady T-Wolves play host to the Calgary Dinos at noon (Sun).

–In exhibition basketball: the University of Victoria Vikes beat the UNBC Lady Timberwolves 80-67 on the Island.

The UNBC men are 1-1 at the UBC basketball tournament following an 85-71 loss to Memorial (Newfoundland) and a 101-80 victory over Guelph.
