Prince George City Council will hold their regular meeting on Monday night.
Among the issues to be discussed is a presentation from the BC Lung Association on Radon Gas.
The Association`s recent Radon Testing Study found that in Prince George, 1 in 3 homes had radon levels higher than the current safety standard.
They will be asking council to promote a Radon Awareness Month in November to encourage radon testing.
Council will also consider allowing residents free transit on the day of the Federal Election, October 19th.
The proposal hopes to make it easier for residents to attend their assigned polling stations and encourage more citizens to vote.
Also on the agenda for Monday night is the possibility of a new deceleration lane on Tyner Boulevard.
The meeting will begin at 6PM in Council Chambers.
