Timberwolves lose and draw soccer games

The UNBC Timberwolves battled the Calgary Dinos to a scoreless draw today (Sun) in women’s soccer action.

After three crossbars and countless saves from goalkeeper Jordan Hall the Dinos were unable to find the back of the net.

It was a strong defensive effort from both sides and it was the final home game for both Jordan and Sydney Hall as well as Tanya Grob and Jo Riberio.

The Lady Timberwolves will be on the road next weekend against the Alberta Pandas

On the men’s side the T-Wolves were blanked once again by the second ranked UBC Thunderbirds 2-0.

Both goals came from Harry Lakhan and Milad Mehrabi.

Despite the loss the T-Wolves received strong efforts from goal keeper Tyrone Venhola and defenders Dan Goode and Conrad Rowlands.

The Timberwolves are off next week before heading to Trinity Western to play the Spartans.
