ICBC is reminding drivers to take care this Thanksgiving long weekend.
Spokesperson, Joanna Linsangen says the provincial numbers during this time is too high.
“Throughout BC we see about 1800 crashes occurring during this time and that results in 3 deaths and 520 injuries.”
Linsangen says important driving tips include preparing your vehicle, checking your winter tires and to slow down if road conditions are less then ideal.
In the North Central Region, 18 people are injured in 130 crashes every year.
