Public Hearing on Guay Road property cancelled for a second time

Another public hearing regarding 880 Guay Road has been cancelled, according to the City of Prince George.

The hearing was scheduled to take place during Monday’s Regular City Council Meeting.

According to a City Spokesperson, the applicant did not update the signage notice on the property which stated the date of the public hearing to reflect the new public hearing.

They were required to do this ten days in advance of the hearing.

The applicant is proposing to redesignate a 22.7 ha portion of the property from “Rural Resource” to “Light Industrial.”

This is the second time a public hearing regarding the property has been cancelled.

In December, a public hearing regarding the property was cancelled due to the Canada Post Strike.

A new notice will be issued if the hearing is rescheduled again.
