After a recent rainfall in Prince George creating slick roads and walkways, its looking like that will remain over the next little bit.
Tomorrow is forecast to have around 2 centimetres of snow, which Meteorologist Yimei Li says won’t necessarily affect current conditions.
Li highlights early next week to potentially worsen roadways.
“The biggest threat is Monday night to Tuesday morning, because we’re not sure if it’s going to be snow or rain, and there’s also a risk of freezing rain with that event.”
“As temperatures rise on Tuesday, roads can be a little bit messy.”
Li says by late next week, the Prince George area could see a short stint of below freezing temperatures.
She notes with forecasts that far out, there is uncertainty, and could change over time.
