Sabrina Angus taking the helm as Interim President and CEO of Prince George Airport Authority

The Prince George Airport Authority has announced Sabrina Angus will be the interim President and CEO, effective immediately.

Angus is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources and a Certified Disability Management Professional.

With over a decade of leadership experience, she has been celebrated for her contributions to business and community, including being recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 by the Prince George Chamber of Commerce and earning the BC Human Resources Management Association Rising Start Award.

“I am honoured to take on the role of Interim President and CEO of the Prince George Airport Authority,” Angus said.

“This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our dedicated team, airport partners, and the broader community to build on the strong foundation established by Mr. Duke and the Board. I look forward to supporting our collective success and am committed to ensuring a smooth transition while continuing to support the organization’s goals and priorities.”

“When Mr. Duke advised the Board of Directors of his intent to retire at the end of 2024, the Board was in agreement that Ms. Angus possessed the necessary skills, abilities and leadership qualities to lead the internal team while the Board undertook the rigorous process of securing the new CEO,” said Board Chair Derek Dougherty.

“We thank Mr. Duke for his years of service to the Board of Directors, airport community, tenants, travellers, and many other stakeholders he worked alongside to enhance our profile.”

The Airport Authority’s search for a permanent President and CEO is ongoing.
