Teachers job action hits PG Thursday & next Tuesday

Day four of rotating strikes by public school teachers hits Prince George Thursday.

Picket lines will be up beginning at 5 am at the districts head office on Ferry Avenue and at schools from 8 am until 3 pm.

Here’s Superintendent of Schools Brian Pepper.

Pepper says administrative staff will be at work but asks that parents make alternative child care arrangements.

Teachers also announced Wednesday they plan to strike next week including Tuesday in Prince George.
