WHL:
Victoria Royals 6 Prince George Cougars 3
The Royals jumped out to a 4-0 lead, but that was nearly erased with Koehn Ziemmer scoring twice and Viliam Kmec adding one to cut the lead to 4-3 in the third.
With Jayden Kraus pulled, Kmec’s stick broke, which led to Teydon Trembecky putting one in the empty cage, he would put a second one in just over a minute later.
Ziemmer’s first goal was his 121st in a Cougars uniform, which put him alone on top of the Cougars’ all-time goals list.
