Mackenzie RCMP still looking for woman that went missing in last summer

Despite investigation efforts, Mackenzie RCMP remains on the lookout for Alice Maureen Chingee.

Police said she was reported missing on July 18th, 2024.

They added that someone knows what happened, and potentially holds the key to solving this and providing answers to her family.

Both the RCMP and her family are concerned for her wellbeing, and anyone with information about Chingee is asked to contact the Mackenzie RCMP at 250-997-3288.

PG RCMP arrest Quesnel man after fire at local transfer station

The Prince George RCMP say a Quesnel resident has been arrested following a report of a fire at a transfer station. At around 9:00 Monday morning, Mounties received a report of the fire at the transfer station on 11300 Miworth Road, with one suspect identified by witnesses. 

Masich Place Stadium among parks to undergo seasonal closure

Tomorrow (Friday) is the last day for public walking at Masich Place Stadium. In addition, Carrie Jane Grey Park and Connaught Hill Park will also be closed to vehicle traffic.
