Bourke signs on the dotted line

The Prince George Cougars captain this past season, Troy Bourke, has signed a 3 year entry level contract with the Colorado Avalanche. According to CapGeek.com, Bourke will earn just over $600,000 per season if he plays in the NHL and $60,000 per year if he’s at the AHL level. In the 2013-14 season, Bourke tallied for 85 points in 69 games with the Cougars and then added 7 points in 15 games with the AHL’s Lake Erie Monsters.
