Thursday’s teacher’s strike has put added stress on local child care providers.
Director of Child Care Services for the “Y” – Lynette Mikalishen – says the strike has meant an increase in demand for child care spaces.
Mikalishen expects the “Y” will be even busier when teachers strike again next Tuesday.
