Prince George RCMP investigating hit and run involving a youth

The Prince George RCMP are investigating an incident where a youth was hit by a vehicle.

The hit and run took place on March 3rd, at around 6:00pm, where a youth that was walking along Holmes Road near Ellis Road was struck by a passing vehicle.

Media Relations Officer, Corporal Jennifer Cooper said thankfully the youth was not seriously injured.

“The vehicle is described as a darker pick up truck, black or possibly grey, may have had a lift kit and some metal racking in the back.”

It’s believed the truck is possibly a GMC or Dodge RAM.

After the incident, the truck continued west along Holmes Road.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident that hasn’t spoken with police, or have any video footage from the area between 6:00pm and 6:25pm is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300.
