Primetime Wrestling supporting Duchess Park Dry Grad this weekend

Primetime Wrestling returns to the Prince George Civic Centre this weekend.

The promotion will be expecting a “hero’s welcome” from Leon Lokombo, who appeared in front of more than 38,000 fans at WWE’s Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event in Toronto two weeks ago.

“Leon was out in Toronto for the tryout, when they’re in Canada, they bring out the top Canadian wrestlers and they do the tryout and training with them, and then he earned himself a spot on the Elimination Chamber that night,” said Stuart “The Mauler” Brown, one of the promotions wrestler’s.

Lokombo and his partner Braydon Goss will defend their tag team titles against Rebel Knoxville and Donny Brooks

Also on the card, Brown’s son will have a ten-minute challenge match with one of The Mauler’s arch-rivals, Vance Nevada.

“Back in November 2023, I was taking a beating by him and some of his cronies, and my son jumped in the ring to try and help the beating stop,” Brown said.

“It ended up Vance picked him up, put him in his finishing move and sent him to the hospital that night.”

“Prospector” Wes Barker will get a shot at the Heavyweight championship against Andy Anderson.

VIP ticket holders will also get a chance to take aim at Primetime’s most hated wrestler of 2024, Sean Gaston.

Primetime Promoter Davy Greenlees is offering ticket holders a chance to throw pies in Gaston’s face, and if he fails to honor the appearance, he’ll be stripped of the Northwestern Championship.

Gaston will also be in a lumberjack match with local wrestler John Gillespie.

This weekend’s shows will benefit the Duchess Park Dry Grad celebrations.

To date, Primetime Wrestling has contributed more than $29,000 to local charities and causes over the past two years.
