PG RCMP investigating business robbery on Queensway

Four people were taken into custody while another two civilians sustained injuries following a weekend robbery in Prince George.

The RCMP were called to business on Queensway for a report of a robbery just before 10pm on Sunday and upon arrival, they discovered the two victims who were injured.

Officers also learned that a male, with his face covered stole an item and “bear sprayed” two people inside before fleeing on foot.

Evidence gathered form the store’s closed-circuit television showed a man coming inside the business while another man waited outside. Both were wearing masks and ran northbound on Queensway.

The Police Dog Service (PDS) was called and a track lead to a residence in the 1500 Block of Queensway where two people were arrested and two others were detained for robbery.

Two of the men have since been released without process, while the other two were held in custody.

The investigation remains ongoing.
