Bond remains neutral in teacher's dispute

While she’s sensitive to the concerns of BC teachers, Labour Minister Shirley Bond says she won’t be meeting with PG’s local union representative.

Bond also says while she supports teachers’ she’s hoping an agreement between the government and BCTF will soon be hammered out at the negotiating table.

All of this after PG & District Teacher’s Association president Tina Cousins had raised hopes of meeting Bond following Thursday’s teachers rally in front of the ministers office.
