With the 178th pick, the Cougars selected Kooper Kozmeniuk from Powell River.

There are no stats available for Kozmeniuk from the past season.

The Cougars have made a couple of picks in the seventh round.

At 152nd, the Cougars picked up Nixon Bettenson of Grande Prairie.

Bettenson, a left-handed forward tallied 54 points (28G, 26A) in 31 games with the Grande Peace Storm U15 AAA club of the Alberta Elite Hockey League.

At 155th, the Cougars added defenceman Brett Buors from Niverville, Manitoba.

The 6′ 3″ blueliner notched 20 points (4G, 16A) in 36 games for the Pilot Mound Academy U15 prep team in the CSSHL.

The Cougars went local with the fifth round, 113th overall pick.

They selected Prince George Product Kadric Mujcin, a left winger.

Mujcin notched 63 points (29G, 34A) in 27 games with the U15 Cariboo Cougars, as well as four points (2G, 2A) in six games with the Cariboo Cougars U17 club.

With their third round selection, the Cougars went between the pipes.

The Cougars selected Goaltender Kole Andersov of Campbell River 63rd overall.

In 20 games with the St. Georges U15 Prep team, Andersov posted a 2.48 goals against average with a .925 save percentage and a 14-4-1 record.

With their second round pick, the Cougars picked up Anderson Reschny of Macklin, Saskatchewan.

The 15-year-old defenceman picked up 38 points (9G, 29G) in 36 games with OHA Edmonton U15 Prep team of the CSSHL.

He is also the brother of Victoria Royals Forward Cole Reschny.

In addition, the Swift Current Broncos picked up Fort St. John product Linden Andersen with the 37th pick.

Andersen, a right-shot defenceman, notched 83 points (34G, 49A) with the NEBC Trackers U15 AA team this past.

With the 40th pick in the US Priority Draft, the Cougars picked up defenceman Landon Jackson from Phoenix, Arizona.

In just four regular season games with the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes 14U AAA club this past season, Jackson scored one goal.

The Prince George Cougars have made their first selection of the WHL’s 2025 US Priority Draft.

With the eighth pick, the Cougars selected forward Carson Janko of Highland Village, Texas.

With the Dallas Stars Elite 14U AAA team this season, Janko tallied 38 goals and 51 assists in 56 games.

The Cougars also hold the 40th pick in the US Priority Draft.

This story will be updated throughout the day as the Cougars make picks in the US Priority Draft and the WHL Prospects Draft.

In the first round of the Prospects Draft yesterday, the Cougars selected forward Cohen Baker, while the Regina Pats selected Prince George product Logan Henry.
